Mr Tony Jeffries is a qualified Orthopaedic Surgeon.  He has been practicing elective and trauma orthopaedic surgery in Western Australia since 1983 as Registrar and Consultant.

  • Mr Jeffries specialises in hand and upper limb surgery, including trauma, arthritis and sports injuries. 
  • Shoulder Surgery : Arthroscopic procedures for rotator cuff disease and shoulder instability. Arthroplasty for arthritis– resurfacing hemiarthroplasty ; total shoulder arthroplasty; reverse shoulder arthroplasty
  • Elbow Surgery :

  • Open procedures, including total elbow arthroplasty for severe elbow arthritis.
  • Hand and Wrist Surgery :
  • Wrist arthroscopy for assessment and treatment of ligamentous injuries.
  • Open wrist and hand reconstructive procedures for arthritis and post trauma
  • Trauma : Open reduction, internal fixation of upper limb fractures including complex wrist and hand fractures. Open hand trauma. General orthopaedic trauma.

Particular Interests

Mr Jeffries has a strong interest in providing volunteer Orthopaedic services to third world countries.  He is a regular visitor to East Timor and Ethiopia.  He has also worked in Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands and South Africa on a voluntary basis.
